Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to Lugano for the XXXVth Meeting of the Club Jules Gonin. After our past meetings in the French and the German speaking parts of Switzerland, next year’s meeting will be held in the Italian speaking area. Located at the southern tip of Switzerland and easily reached both from Milan and Zurich airport, Lugano represents the Italian heritage within Swiss culture and it unites the legendary alpine landscapes with a lush southern vegetation. Ticino boasts not only its own mediterranean microclimate but also an important historical, cultural and artistic heritage with three UNESCO world heritage sites. The Convention Centre “Palazzo dei Congressi” is centrally located next to the municipal Parco Ciani and the lakeshore and within easy walking distance of all the major hotels. We very much look forward to seeing you in Lugano in May 2026.
